Date: 16/04/2009

Thousands of students are set to don cap and gown as part of the University of Western Sydney's 2009 Autumn Graduation, being held Saturday 18 April to Friday 24 April.

Over 5300 graduands will make the transition from dedicated student to proud UWS alumni over the course of the ceremonies, which are being held at the Parramatta Campus.

Degrees will be conferred across a wide range of disciplines, including: education, communication arts, social sciences, humanities and languages, psychology, nursing, biomedical sciences, natural sciences, computing and mathematics, engineering, accounting, law, management, marketing, business, and economics and finance.

Graduation is also a chance for the University community to come together with representatives from business, government and the wider communities of Greater Western Sydney.
