UWS offers a flexible approach to completing a Business Masters

Date: 13/05/2009

The University of Western Sydney is helping prospective students combine full-time work and study goals, providing flexible solutions to professionals interested in completing the Business Masters program.

The UWS Business Masters Information Evening will be held at Rydges Parramatta on Wednesday 20 May, 2009.

The evening will be a valuable opportunity for prospective students interested in completing a Business Masters program but are concerned with eligibility, time, money and family commitments.

Associate Professor Robyn McGuiggan, Executive Dean of the College of Business, will address attendees on the evening and highlight the wide range of study options available. Some of the flexible options to be discussed on the night include:
* Distance Education
* On-campus evening and intensive weekend workshops
* Online study and e-learning
* One-on-one support and advice from tutors by phone and email.

Prospective students will also be able to gain information about the many student support services available at UWS. For example, by choosing to study a Business Masters, students can gain access to the UWS library, and digital and online resources at any time of the day.

Academic and support staff will be on hand to discuss the process of applying and enrolling, and previous Business Masters graduates will be available to answer questions from prospective students.

International students will have the opportunity to assess their study options and submit direct applications with the guidance of representatives from the UWS International Office.
