UWS Course Decision Day: last opportunity for advice on your future

Time is fast approaching for prospective students to decide which university degree they will undertake in 2010.

To help students make the choice that's right for them, the University of Western Sydney is hosting its Course Decision Day on January 4, 2010, at the UWS Parramatta Campus, 4-8pm.

The event will provide prospective students with the opportunity to learn everything they need to know about studying at university, including:

* Information on applying, enrolling and changing preferences.

* Information about all the courses on offer at UWS, as well as information about scholarship, leadership and career development opportunities.

* One-on-one advice from academic staff about the specific courses and careers that suit students' needs and ambitions.

* Pathways to university through UWSCollege.

* Real-life experiences from current UWS students about what to expect at university and making the most of campus life.

* Information about living on campus with the UWS student residences.

Visitors can travel to Course Decision Day by car or by train.

Train travellers are advised to alight at Parramatta Station and take the Darcy Street exit, where they will be directed to shuttle buses. Shuttle buses will run every 15 minutes to Parramatta Campus.

If travelling by car, free parking is available off James Ruse Drive in Rosehill Racecourse car park. Shuttle buses will run every 15 minutes to Parramatta Campus.
